For all those important life lessons you've imparted, the moral support you've provided over the years and (how can I forget) all those hard-earned moolah you've spent on me, I thank you Papa!
Around the same time last year, I managed to snap this photo. I love this shot for several reasons. For one thing, it got me into photography for real. For another, the comments the photo has garnered are simply amazing; reading them again has me all motivated again. If you would recall, I posted two more photos of bees at work, all of which are my personal favourites.
Sarah Brightman is getting increasing playtime on my iPod. I love her; her vocal prowess is simply unparralled. She's here in town and her Harem World Tour concert will be on later today. But yours truly, being rather tight with his wallet nowadays, won't be going to see and hear the diva live on stage. I'm still very keen on getting the Nikon D70, so I think I'll keep my dough and just make do with Brightman's entrancing voice emanating from trusty iPod (heck, I can always call upon my vivid imagination and convince myself that I'm watching Sarah Brightman strutting her stuff on stage whenever Harem comes on).
My wishlist is getting longer by the day; this is bad... why oh why am I so emotionally shallow to the extent of wanting gadgets to fill the gap? Nevertheless, topping the list is none other than Nikon D70. I also need (need is such a loose term) a Griffin iTrip to broadcast non-stop hits from my iPod to radios; my iPod FM would beat Hitz FM hands-down (minus the annoying ads too)! I would want a spanking new car too but it's really beyond my reach without Papa's contribution...
