The darnest thing has happened to me yet again. Remember how I missed the One O'clock Gun at Edinburgh Castle by one minute? This time around, I miss getting an exemption from the Institute of Actuaries by 2 marks. Like I've said, I don't mind missing things by a long shot. Missing said exemption means I've to resit the paper. To resit the paper, I would have to cough up 56 pounds, pay 50 US dollars to change my air ticket to go back to the UK early to take the resit and spend the balance of my summer holiday studying to make sure I don't miss the exemption by 2 marks again. The dissapointment, anguish and frustration had passed but am still pissed off at Lady Luck for ditching me. Yo, Lady L, I want the flowers and gifts back.
