My flight back to London went without a hitch despite the heightened security measures. As there weren't many passengers (probably convinced by the news that it wasn't a good time to travel), I had 3 seats all to myself. While it wasn't exactly Raffles-class comfort, I was glad to be able to lie down to have some shut-eye.

So, I'm back in London. Back to the mundane (cleaning up room, cooking and the like). Back to the excitement (went jogging by the canal earlier today only to find a girl, who apparently fell from her bike, barely conscious). Back to missing family and friends. Back too early, too soon.
