Ka-ching!

I was already smitten with Scotland on my last trip to the highlands; the recent visit to Isle of Skye has officially made Scotland my second favourite place on Earth!

With a few of my chums, we drove from Edinburgh to the isle. The journey took longer than was necessary because we couldn't help but stop to take photos of the stunning landscape along the way.

Like the highlands, the east side of Isle of Skye feels prehistoric; vast barren mountainous areas dominate the landscape and in place of dinosaurs, you have sheep roaming unattended. On the Enid Blyton-ish west coast, you would get swept off your feet, figuratively and literally. We were mindful not to be blown off by the strong wind while enjoying the amazing view of the sea and rugged cliffs.

The trip was good and I am ready to turn into a hermit for the next few weeks. Actuarial Science does turn out to be quite challenging and with nary a month left till exams, I have really got to start reading up; there's no way I'm going to miss those exemptions again.
