I've gone without trips to the theater for more than a month. That officially makes me a movie camel! Now that exams are over and done with, the first thing that I, being a certified movie-buff, would naturally do is head to the nearest theater.
But I surprised myself when I didn't rush to watch Spider-Man 3. I even gave my Orange Wednesday code (this gives you 2 tickets for the price of one on Wednesdays, hence the name) to my friends who wanted to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 3 simply because those movies, for lack of a less-much-used word, suck.
The only summer "blockbuster" I'm looking forward to is Sicko, the new documentary by Michael Moore, which even the right-wing Fox news is calling a "brilliant and uplifting new documentary". Moore and his mix of humour and drama seldom disappoint, unlike Jack Black's Nacho Libre (the photo reminds me of the much-hyped-but-failed-to-deliver movie). His films are not ones I would get sick of.
