My life is fast becoming a routine. I wake up at 7.15am, go swimming at 8am, get into the office at 9am, have lunch with the same group of colleagues at the same table at 12.30pm, leave the office at 5pm, hit the gym on alternate days after work, get home at 7pm if I do go to the gym, go on Facebook and finish dinner by 8pm, watch TV shows, do a bit of reading and sleep at 11pm. Every weekday. I hate routines; the only upside is that more than ever before, I'm fitter and smarter (if this article by Malcom Gladwell on how TV shows nowadays make "greater cognitive demands" is true).
That is why I enjoy going out often now. Dinner and movie after the other evening was the best combo so far.
